Complete 3-day Kyoto itinerary exploring ancient temples, traditional neighbourhoods and iconic natural landscapes of Japan's cultural capital

Kyoto is the cultural heart of Japan and one of the country's most important destinations for those seeking tradition, history and Japanese architecture. The city brings together some of Japan's most famous temples and shrines, as well as preserved neighbourhoods that maintain the traditional way of life.

Japan's former imperial capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto holds one of the country's greatest historical heritages, with dozens of UNESCO World Heritage sites. Unlike Tokyo, the city has a quieter pace, focused on culture, temples, gardens and traditional experiences.
