Known as the "Moroccan Switzerland", Ifrane surprises with how different it is from the rest of Morocco. This Middle Atlas city has sloped-roof houses, well-kept gardens, clean streets and the famous Stone Lion. It serves as a natural stop between Fez and the route south through the country.
