Tatev Monastery

Tatev Monastery is one of Armenia's most impressive medieval monastic complexes, built on the edge of a gorge in the south of the country and accessible by the Wings of Tatev cable car, one of the longest in the world.

Wings of Tatev

Wings of Tatev is Armenia's most famous cable car, with 5.7 km crossing the Vorotan gorge above the south of the country. The 12-minute crossing offers aerial views over the valley and is the most impactful way to reach Tatev Monastery.

Khndzoresk Cave Village

Khndzoresk is an ancient cave village in southern Armenia where hundreds of families lived in houses carved into the rock until the mid-20th century. The swinging bridge connecting the two sides of the valley is one of the country's most unusual stops.
