There are different ticket options, including a combined visit with another set of sets. Check on site what's included, how long it takes, and the current price before buying.

The studios are outside the central area. Use a taxi, car, or driver, and arrange the return trip in advance.

El Mansour Eddahbi reservoir: optional stop

The El Mansour Eddahbi reservoir creates an interesting contrast between water and the arid landscape near Ouarzazate. However, it doesn't function as an organized tourist attraction with an entrance, parking, and an official viewpoint.

Only include this stop if your accommodation or a local driver points to simple, permitted, and safe access. Avoid unfamiliar dirt roads, restricted areas, and getting close to the dam's operational structures.

The water level and how the landscape looks vary throughout the year. If there's no suitable access on the day of your visit, head back to the center without affecting the rest of the itinerary.

End of the day in Ouarzazate

After the studios, head back to your accommodation or take a short walk in the center. The end of the day can be used to rest before continuing your trip.

If your next destination is Marrakech, check the road conditions through the High Atlas and set aside enough time. The route can change because of weather, construction, traffic, and stops.

Ait Ben Haddou deserves its own period and doesn't need to be added to the end of this itinerary. Trying to combine the kasbah, the museum, the studios, the reservoir, and Ait Ben Haddou in the same day makes the schedule overly tight.

For dinner, choose a nearby restaurant or check whether your accommodation serves meals. A calm evening helps you rest before continuing your trip.
